Each season brings a variety of activities near the farm. In the spring, guests enjoy apple blossoms, the antique markets. Summer offers nearby swimming, golfing, touring Gettysburg, or hiking on the Appalachian Trail (just 10 miles away). The fall foliage flames the mountains with colors, and the crisp Autumn air invites the guests to take a lovely walk into the mountains. Many Fall harvest festivals and craft fairs are celebrated in the area at this time of the year.

Antiques and New Oxford Antiques are hard to beat. The Gettysburg Antique Outdoor show is offered in the Spring and the Fall. The New Oxford Antique street fair is an annual show that is planned in the middle of June. New Oxford is a small town east of Gettysburg. The Gettysburg National Military Park offers a great experience that includes tours, movies, museums and the wonderful Cyclorama painting of Pickett’s Charge.
